South Florida, like many other areas, has a cat problem. Without question we have an overpopulation of cats and stray dogs. We can help lower their population with spay and neuter programs, unfortunately it requires time and money. First off you need to trap these animals, which means purchasing a trap or two (they are not cheap) and hopefully you know how to use the trap and have time. We have ladies and a few good men who help with trapping unfortunately we don’t have enough of them. They need to be paid either by donating or paying for their services. Not only do they trap, but they make all the phones calls and drive around to different organizations who do the operations. They also return the cats to the same area where they were trapped. This is called TNR. Now here is where you and our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization can help. We run raffles to raise money to help with food and medical costs along with doing the spay and neutering of these animals. Please help us help them by donating and receive a free raffle ticket or donating to our nonprofit organization.
We thank you in advance for any donation including food for these animals.

Abby's Story
2008 was an up and down year for me, I had 2 dogs Mutt-mutt and Chewy cross the Rainbow bridge. Chewy crossed over in May and Mutt-Mutt in October. My heart was broken, and my emotions were running wild. I cried every day for months! I lost 15 lbs in 2 weeks when Chewy passed. It hurts when you lose a furry family member. Two weeks after Chewy crossed over, I adopted a Labrador Retriever from the humane society in Hollywood, Florida. She was the 3rd dog I had adopted from them over the years. I named her Abby. She helped me get through a tough year.
Little did I know how great a dog she was to become. For the next 15 years her and I became more than best friends she was my soul, my heart, my protector and she taught me so much. We traveled throughout the state of Florida making deliveries and visiting several dog parks. She, like many dogs loved to go for long rides. We went to the Keys several times she loved going there, of course so did I. She did not have a bad bone in her, she was a very compassionate dog and was loved by all who met her including other animals. Unfortunately, on March 6, 2023, I made a heartbreaking decision to let her cross over to the rainbow bridge.
It was the worst day of my life!!!
She was not able to move or even pickup her head. I had to carry her 3 times a day for her to go potty. She had arthritis in all 4 legs and no matter what we did nothing was helping but she was happy until the last 2 weeks when I was told she also had cancer. She was my 7th dog in my life, and she was so special. It has been well over a year and still every day I cry!
I feed over 100 stray and feral cats where I live, needless to say there were only a few of them I could touch, however they all loved my dog Abby when we would go for our nightly walk, they would follow her. I was not able to even get close to most of the cats they were feral, but for some reason they loved Abby. During her 15 years she saved 7 kittens, and they all got adopted with me keeping one and is still with me. Due to her love of all life, I made a promise to Abby and myself, I would start a nonprofit organization and name it after her. I keep my promise thanks to some very special friends.
In August of 2023 I started the nonprofit Abbys Wish. My mission is to be able to raise awareness and capital for all the great people who feed thousands of stray dogs and cats in South Florida. Most of these people are buying food plus medical supplies for these animals out of their pocket and most cannot afford to do this. Please folks if you can even spare just $5 once a month it would help so many feeders. We have raffles to help raise funds for the feeders please donate and receive a FREE raffle ticket with a chance to win cash and or a gift card.
We also have an ecommerce website www.abbyswish.com
